EXCALIBUR BY MOONLIGHT

An original mystical painting that changes as the light changes. Using translucent metallic paints Ann has created a moonlit image where Excalibur stands out from the pool reflecting the light, the tor in the background and the surface of the water shiver and change with the light, the ancient oak looks on.

This painting has been created on Cornish Slate from a quarry in St. Dominick that closed in the 1800s and has been buried since the 1950s when it was removed from a 500 year old house. Lovingly restored it comes complete with a rustic hanging, threaded through a hole that once pegged this slate to the ancient timbers, felt pads to protect your wall and is signed by the artist.
