ELEGANT DELABOLE SLATE CLOCK

This elegant Slate Clock has been created from a Slate taken originally from the famous Delabole Slate Quarry in Cornwall perhaps two hundred years ago, having served well on a roof somewhere in region in between times.

 The angles serve to mark the hours, one, two, four, five, seven, eight, ten and eleven, whilst the small triangles of gold painted in the centre of each long side mark the other hours - functional yet preserving the beautiful patterns created by nature as this slate has aged and weathered in the elements.

All clocks are fitted with a Seiko quartz movement and come complete with a 1.5v battery, which will keep the clock running for approximately 2 years. All clocks have an integral hanger, fixed around the spindle that passes through the actual slate itself.
