4 SLATE BUTTER PLATES / PLATTERS

These miniature natural slate butter plates / platters are made with the same techniques and care as all the other annmade platters.

Each octagonal butter platter is approximately 8.5 cm X 8.5 cm and has been hand crafted, filed, smoothed and olive-oiled to produce a dark but individually patterned slate platter, each with it’s own natural undulations.

Butter, whether in hand-cut blocks or pre-formed, rosettes or stars, looks absolutely stunning against this dark natural slate. The size is perfect to hold one, two or three pieces, ideal for personalised settings. Designed to be used either way up, with the Classic clean-cut edges or the rustic Laminar edges showing             

These do not have feet and so are fully washable with mild detergent and hand-hot water, the surface sheen can easily be restored from time to time by lightly oiling with warm olive oil and rubbing off excess.  Not dishwasher safe
