CLASSIC SLATE CHEESE BOARD

Classic Slate Cheeseboard - designed as octagonal for ease of handling, this slate cheese board is 29 cm x 25 cm (larger size) and finished in olive-oil

This style of slate cheese board gives you a clean-cut look from the top, crisp straight edges with the natural breaking of the slate forming a sloping away beneath the surface, which, combined with the rubbber feet give a light look to the slates and is easier for picking them up. The surface is lightly hand polished and then sealed with olive oil to bring out the quality of the natural lines and variations in the slate and make food-safe.

*NEW* Now with neat 8mm high black-rubber-feet to protect your table surface, make it easier to wash and  easier to pick up the cheese board to pass it round.* 

Can be written on with chalk to identify cheeses displayed.
Surface can be washed with mild detergent and hand-hot water, and surface sheen may be restored by lightly oiling with warm olive oil.
