RUSTIC SLATE CHEESE BOARD

The Rustic Slate Cheeseboard is designed as octagonal for ease of handling, is a medium size being 25 cm x 25 cm and is finished in olive-oil - great for special occasions or everyday use.

This style gives you a rustic frame to display your selection of cheeses on. The slate is hand cut showing the natural laminations from the cut. The surface is lightly hand polished removing sharp edges from the slate,  then conditioned with olive oil to bring out the quality of the natural lines and variations in the slate and make food-safe.

*NEW* Now with neat 8mm high black-rubber-feet to protect your table surface, make it easier to wash and  easier to pick up the cheese board to pass it round.*

Doubles as a stylish CAKE PLATE -  ideal for Victoria Sandwich cakes,  Sponges or other similar cakes of about 20cm diameter

Can be written on with chalk to identify cheeses displayed.
Surface can be washed with mild detergent and hand-hot water, and surface sheen may be restored by lightly oiling with warm olive oil.
