PAINTED UNICORN HEAD ON SLATE

This Unicorn head painting is on a selected piece of Carnglaze blue-black Cornish Slate from Carnglaze Slate Caverns near St. Neot . size approx 19cm x 15cm

An ethereal mythical beast, the Unicorn is painted in silver pearlised paint, the dark of the natural slate allowed to show through to create the shading and shadows.

This Unicorn plaque is provided with a leather loop for hanging it up. The back of this painting is signed by the artist and has felt-pads to rest against the wall and prevent marking.
